Jim Diamond produced the White Stripes, The Sonics and Dirtbombs, among the others. In addition to being a producer, he is also a bass player and he mixed this new, mysterious album of The Beards 'Freak Town'.
It features grim tales, gloomy blues, and new themes with complex and captivating sounds. It is a brooding journey, reminiscent of Nick Cave, Tom Waits and American Music as well as Black Sabbath’s hard rock, Black Keys, Ennio Morricone, hillbilly country and Coen brothers’ filmography.
The album will include uniquely designed artwork with extraordinary beardy illustrations by graphic artists Luca 'Zentequerente' Vallese and Andrea Garbo. Their art creates the perfect graphic counterpoint to the album sound, with powerful and enigmatic imagery.
